About

Wild Adventure Fun Since 2010!

Ryan & Bethany’s “wild adventure” began in 2001: Ryan a senior at Shelley High School, Bethany a Sophomore at Hillcrest. Ryan graduated & served a mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Cleveland, Ohio.  Ryan came home mid way through Bethany’s senior year, & it didn’t take long for them to start dating! They got married shortly after & started the next chapter of their epic adventure. They headed to Utah for a few years while Ryan pursued a higher education degree. He graduated with a dual bachelor’s in Business Management & Finance. Bethany was busy starting a family, while simultaneously earning her Cosmetology license. When the education chapter of the adventure was closed, they moved back to Idaho & got to work!

Ryan used his degree to pursue a career in banking for a couple years, then moved onto insurance, before finally landing in farming. This is where the fun began! He enjoys the dirt, being outside & the challenge & variety that farming provides. He missed it & began farming with his dad & uncles. He began the process of buying the farm in 2014, & by 2018 was running the operation on his own. The Searle family took over Wild Adventure Corn Maze in 2019.

Their greatest adventure is their family. Ryan and Bethany have a goal to teach their five children to be self sufficient and work hard. Everyone has a role in this family operation! Their older kids work on the farm, run their own lawn care business and work at the corn maze. The younger ones are busy watching and learning so one day they can follow in those hard working foot steps. You’ll likely see them when you visit the Wild Adventure Corn Maze.

They believe family is important to the success of any community.  They love this area and want to provide a fun place where the whole family can bond and enjoy time away from the stresses of everyday life.

Work hard—play hard is their motto for this wild adventure! They hope you’ll join them on your next chapter of play!
